This is f****d up.Some offices are getting nowt,some not getting OT,it should be a blanket payment.I fail to see how election material is worth more in Lands End than it is in John O'Groats.It the same damn thing!
For the record I claimed OT on them and got paid.
Seems my office isn't half as weak as some on here.

Are RM HQ in control of their own managers?
Has so much power been devolved to local unit managers that they do what they like and ignore RM HQ?
Anyone who thinks they are being unfairly treated in respect to election material payments should launch a grievance.
Why not email Peter Walls and get a definitive answer to use in your grievances.

update on my post of yesterday:-
told my rep this morning what I posted and the "well, we've been paid" replies. He said "I'll tell the area rep".
Came back off delivery and saw the area rep, mentioned payment for pollcards, and was told "yes you get it, i'm sorting it out with area now"

On another topic, management are getting messages on the intranet that few are returning their ballots. Does this mean that the constant 'It will be a yes vote' has had an effect, and if so, who does it benefit?

1. the Yes voters (who can only see as far as the lump sums) are returning their ballot papers
2. those who feel let down by the terms of this agreement have gone into a state of total apathy, fuelled by the mistaken belief that "it'll get voted in anyway".
Anyone reading this who hasn't voted yet, PLEASE, make sure you vote.
Don't sit there thinking 'I'm not voting for that pile of sh!te'.
Start thinking 'I must use my vote to reject that pile of sh!te'
You have to ACTIVELY and ACTUALLY vote No, otherwise the agreement will get voted in, and you'll have no justification in moaning about the consequences
