Postal1.This was executive action and should of been stopped via the Interim Agreement.Your rep should now be replacing vacancies with the senior reserves for six months(via the Way Forward). If there are any vacancies it should go up.The part timers can sign for it via seniority.Get your rep/area involved.
They will push inexecutive action and when they do HQ needs to know about it.Get emails for your divisional and email him every day if you need to.

Re: Before you vote read this and think.......
The initial sorting rates are out of the window now,(they ignored them last year anyway as they realised it went nowhere). However the new rates will be judged by BSi in which will be the ACAS bsi. This includes stress, fatigue and motivation. The only way their BSi was done was by budget,(not correct). This will be done via the workshops with ACAS involved.
Some were motivated however......by finishing early and encouraged by half wit line managers. This will be part of the management cull,(1200),after the vote.

The lapsed walk in my office had 6 lots of DTD under the frame this morning, i suggested to the manager i take them home set them in and deliver them Tue-Fri after work which he agreed to, easy money as the lapsed walk is right outside the office, this week that will earn me an extra £65, in a few weeks time if this crap is voted in i would be paid around £8 for the same work.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

It isn't 7%, it is over 3 years and it isn't guaranteed full time employment, 1 hour less at commencement of sequenced revision so not this year, 200 paid on the yes this year, 200 on the sequenced revision implementation and 600 on succesful roll out of sequenced revision, so again not this year and the 3.5% in year 3 subject to revision.NoSurrenderX wrote:Dont try and reason with the imbeciles they cant and never will see that this is a good deal to where we were 6 months ago. All this is really wasted on these people.DirtyHarry wrote:Like what, for instance?banner18 wrote:You cannot find any merits in the agreement?jack straw wrote:If you were offered, a pay cut, longer working on Saturdays, and up double the number of D2D to deliver for no extra money, would you think this was an offer that your union has cobbled together and is recommending?

No you wouldn't because they would have had to be done when due. You used to get piles of them left at one time but not anymore, there is a weekly return done on D2Ds now and a strict regime to see that they ARE delivered.AnotherLimey wrote:The lapsed walk in my office had 6 lots of DTD under the frame this morning, i suggested to the manager i take them home set them in and deliver them Tue-Fri after work which he agreed to, easy money as the lapsed walk is right outside the office, this week that will earn me an extra £65, in a few weeks time if this crap is voted in i would be paid around £8 for the same work.

I'm not questioning your authority postman, but would you reconsider please! He's probably got a bit carried away - some feel that a yes vote is the only sensible path - I on the other hand do not - I for one don't mind being called an imbecile, after all a label is merely in the eye of the beholder - the reality is what is.POSTMAN wrote:3 Day ban!Dont try and reason with the imbeciles

I quite agree and the problem for us all is that we all get old one dayPostal1 wrote: the working tools are likely to push older or slower people out the door.

Well my one day has arrived but I am not sad - I wish I could have my time over again and make more of the opportunites I had but didn't take but a good soldier never looks behind him and the clock runneth.bunkerland wrote:I quite agree and the problem for us all is that we all get old one dayPostal1 wrote: the working tools are likely to push older or slower people out the door.,nobody wants to but it's better than the alternative. With increased workloads and unspecified delivery spans it's difficult to see much to look forward to for us old duffers of the future. When you're sixty it's pretty likely you'll be doing most things a bit slower, that's why you don't see many pensioners competing in the Olympics. It's funny how's it's always someone that sits on their fat arse all day that can't see anything wrong with someone else walking for 5/6 hours every day!
It is true when you get over sixty you do do things slower, and not as often, in fact never

My point was the value of the work now and after the agreement, if it goes through.dvbuk55 wrote:No you wouldn't because they would have had to be done when due. Re: Before you vote read this and think.......
You are living on cloud cuckoo land if you really think we will get all 7% pay rises over 3 years (actually its 4 years as we got fark all last year despite RM making vast profits). The first years pay rise wont cover what some are losing on d2d payments and the early shift allowance. Even the 2nd years rise wont cover it for some people. As for the 3rd years rise read the little small print after it and by then we will be privatised anyway.NoSurrenderX wrote:Dont try and reason with the imbeciles they cant and never will see that this is a good deal to where we were 6 months ago.
