Did you know that if they have to take a packet back they don't get paid until it's delivered ,one of the drivers was telling me about it when he could'nt get rid of a parcel to one of my customers,i said to him thats what happens when you don't work for the real net work.bless him he just laughed.

DHL HNDL and a few others work on a piece rate basis and are only paid when items are delivered which is why you get packets left in the strangest and sometimes most stupid places.

DHL are s**t, I went into a small block of flats today which had like 6 flats in; 2 on each floor and sellotaped on the bannister downstairs was a DHL note for one of the top floor flats. The lazy useless twat had got in the block but couldn't be bothered to go upstairs so left the card stuck to the f'ing bannister.

People don't realise how good they've got it with Royal Mail! Makes you chuckle when the odd fool that hates us says "roll on DHL taking over" Ha! they'll have service like this on a regular basis and will be crying out for us when we're gone.

Tell you who drives me really nuts that is city link, boy oh boy how dence they can be,i've had so many arguments with amazon over my packets that now i have said that i want Royal Mail to deliver my packets or i will take my business elsewhere,so far it has worked, don't get me wrong it is not the drivers fault because like us they have more work and to bigger area to be able to do all the work but at least if RM get the work the local office is local not 20 miles away!

That would explain the "three strikes" and your out delivery system. I had to phone up and complain once when Business Post made 3 delivery attempts within 1 hour

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
