Not being paid for election leaflets?

Where is the actual Agreement on either the CWU or RM sites, I've queried this with Mr Gibson as suggested, and await his response, but I'd like to direct my Local Rep to the Official Document first thing on Tuesday morning.

The agreement is in the downloads section on this site.I've just printed off 20 copies to pass round tomorrow as our office has never been paid even close to the minimum payment.

Has anyone had experience of putting a grievance in over this.I was thinking along the lines of;

Grievance: Being consistently underpaid for delivering election material in breach of a national agreement.

Action required: Reimbursement for underpayment.

Also,if other offices are paid more than us ,for doing the exact same work ,I could surely argue that this is discrimatory and/or unfair.

Whatever you get paid for them is down to a local agreement set out many many years ago. Some get the minimum some get the maximum. C'est la vie.

Well,we weren't even getting the minimum.A rough calculation on last years payment shows 1.2p-1.5p per item and some have claimed earlier in the thread they were told there would be no payment.

Good news today though,after giving my manager a copy of the national agreement today,before going on delivery and complaining about our underpayment I was told when I came back we would be getting around 4.5p per item.

Happy with that,but will still try and argue for more.

This agreement covers all addressed and un-addressed free election communications marked “ELECTION COMMUNICATION” and Poll Cards

As ours were prepaid 2nd class and came in with the normal mail i guess were screwed on that then.

Ours came in this week prepaid 2nd class, and we're getting paid for them @ 3.5p per item so you've been robbed.

Update:

Mr Gibson confirmed that the payment was due for the polling cards and CC'd the reply to both Administrative Support and the Area Delivery Rep for their attention.

General Election poll cards are rolling out now, should be starting to arrive in DOs in the next couple of hours. 1C PPI, walksorted. Seem to be operating on a DO by DO basis so if you aren't hit this week it'll be next.

6.6p an item for us on all election material
Last week we delivered our poll cards,i had just over 1300 and was paid £87.18p for them.

Make sure all you guys are paid for your election material,there is a National agreement that covers this :

Can someone please confirm you get paid for polling cards even if they come in DSA.

DOM told us today we wont get paid for polling cards if they come in DSA.

From what i have read on this thread i believe we should still be payed for them can anyone confirm 100%

DOM in our office has posted on the notice board that management are "in talks" regarding payment for poll cards and we may not get a payment for them.

Other rumours are we will get 2 x standard d2d payment for them, yet each bundle on my frame has a figure of 948 written on them. Got about 3 bundles so thats nearly 3000 x a max of 6.6p (£190!).

Either way people are doing them all just in case they get extra for them as weve been given 2 days max.

If we are indeed due to be paid, but our DOM decides we arent, where does the money go?

I have been away on holiday and only returned to the office today and had orange TNT DSA addresssed polling cards to deliver over 3 days no mention of payment?

I have printed off the agreement to stick on the board but the above mentioned cards, is a payment to be paid on them as I am sure my dom will argue not to pay

Here is some more good news Essex Mum got told today 10 d2d for London and Essex all contracted and waiting for you.

Must be true in this new era of trust they wouldnt mislead would they.

But of course our area not getting more than 3 for next 3 years so we dont have to worry, just vote yes.

No sorry Essex Mum was just informed this morning alongside that last little nugget, that some areas are getting polling cards DSA and if this is case we wont get payment. If they come 2nd class we will, have looked at agreement on this thread and cant see anywhere about not getting payment if they come in through DSA, suppose just another grey area to confuse everybody or for RM & DOMS to try it on.

My understanding of it is payment will be made for ALL Election material!
