This really is a myth that democracy allows free speech.
Free speech is only allowed as long as it is lawful - even at Speaker's Corner.
Was the BNP constitution lawful? Was the very foundation on which that party stood lawful? No.

You and OGPU have been playing the "my gang's better than yours" game; you posted a link to a story (as yet unconfirmed, but it wouldn't be much of a surprise if it's true) re Terre Blanche, and I posted one about the (supposed) opposite end of the political spectrum and his/thier crimes. Not too hard to understand, surely?
Unless that is, you're of the (extremist's) mind-set that anyone who disagrees must be either stupid or of the (opposite) camp?
