Wont be picking up at our office.

Customer handing over 739: "Got this this morning, postman did'nt knock"
Me: "I'm sure the postman would've knocked madam, he would'nt want to walk round all morning with your packet"
Customer: "Perhaps I did'nt hear him"
Me: "I'm very sorry madam, the postman is'nt back from his delivery yet and it quite clearly says on the back of the card that we require 24 hours before you can collect your parcel, so I'm afraid you will have to come back Monday"

:nana :nana :nana
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Surely if royal mail, and more importantly, the postmen and women, are inept, lazy untrustworthy layabouts. You'd make damn sure your precious little book was sent through one of our allegedly far superior conpetitors.
I hope all those penis munchers who were berating us so much on the bbc website aren't in when there book arrives tomorrow. Then have to go into town when it's pissing it down to pick it up. Then fall over getting into their car, crack their head open on the door and watch as bllod gushes out of their forehead and soaks through the packaging staining their oh so important book.

Not that I'm bitter or anything

I bet you're looking forward to that, aren't you? If I was in the caller's office, I'd be pissing meself in anticipation of telling umpteen numpties they should have checked the back of the card, as it might have saved them a wasted journey :dance :dance :dance Sod it, I ain't working tomorrow, mind if I come down with a book and watch it all happen - when it gets quiet, I'll pop down to Subway

Lucky bleeder - I'll be jealous of you, even as I'm snoring my box off in bed. BTW is there a limit on how many have to go out tomorrow, or is every single HP book arriving at Sevenoaks going out tomorrow?

They make the rules up as they go along! Bloody no-mark so-called managers! A minimum of six? What should I have done with the two I had? Delivered them, then knocked and asked for them back a couple of times? The plant pots!
