The Eastern No 6 Branch are recommending a NO vote on the Business Transformation 2010 and Beyond Agreement. A Bedford section meeting is in the process of being arranged for one day next week, this will give the members an opportunity to ask any questions they may have relating to the proposed agreement. Don't be daft - you don't think they're interested in the members opinion surely - they're only the ones that are going to have to implement it.

Tory Dave, might turn around and tell us it's not kosher, as managers will be affected by this agreement, but they're not getting a vote, or even that the majority of employees didn't vote NO ( after he adds non-members to his sums ).....it's as silly as his demand for a majority of members must vote for ballots to be legal ( bit rich coming from a man that's never had a majority of voters take part in an election )

So we have E4 YES, E5 YES and E6 NO

E5 and E6 both have PEC members

The only Branch`s I know that are recommending a no vote are :

Bristol and District

South East Wales

Kent Ivicta

East London Postal

Eastern 6

Solent Amal

North Lancs and Cumbria.


Leeds had their AGM last Sunday and have not heard which way they are going. Most of the remaining Branch`s are supporting the agreement with Newcastle Amal not making a recommendation.
