This is the problem we have in the postal sectors .......... If I was a buisnessman and my employee said that a customers buisness was sh*te I would show him the door!
We don't want to do the work we are paid for without demeaning the product that pays out wages wether it be full time hours or P/t ?
If a solution to the prospect of losing Full time jobs is in the offer then it must be fully thought through instead of slagging it off :d'oh!
I just wonder!!
I know you think you know what you think I meant!
But do you really know?

I actually have just one simple question that should take no time at all:

Why show what this deal means to pay in 2012?

Whats wrong with NOW or 2011?

Don't tell us that the increase would actually be a decrease before 2012 - and that is only TWO years away - jam tomorrow perhaps - or as pooh says "and will there be honey for tea" - erm no - you'll be lucky if there's bread.

What i can't imagine is how a machine is going to sort all these d2d into sleeves :hmmmm ,all different sizes and shapes, all different sectors with different d2ds! Is it going to fold our newspapers too? Or will we be rejecting any awkward sized items and turning away the business? Perhaps we could pay people to put them together, say 1.67p an item? Don't kid yourself that d2d will be arriving any differently than they do just now. It's just some more spin to make your shafting look less bad!

Im wondering how Im gonna pay my rent when this comes in before I worry about why I should be voting yes.

The pay cut is HUGE and the impact on my family life will be enormous.

If this is the best the CWU can do for its members then I'll leave them to it.

£3.01 better off by coming out of the union makes the payrise this year about 2.8% instead of 2%.

I even considering jacking in the pension scheme just get get back on an even wage...

After all this who wants to bet Royal Mail are still in the s**t in 3 years time and want more savings? I wonder whos gonna to have to pay for it? We will and the CWU will strip more from us. Yea thats right...starting with your £20.60 supplement that they had no choice but to "capture" because of declining d2d...blah blah blah.

You told us that first London members would reject the agreement and then your branch would reject the agreement . Both time you have been wrong . I will answer the other points when I have time !
The majority of posties that plod the streets every day, will vote NO, dingo. We don't want more feckin' D2D shyte, and be paid less to do them, and we don't want three out of four of our Saturdays made intolerable, and for no good reason.

As for my branch, I was off the week before last, and my rep is off this week, so I do not know if the branch rejected the deal or not, though I do hope so.

Even if I do prove to be wrong on every single prediction I make, it shouldn't be something for a CWU official to crow about, because I see, hear, the depth of anger towards this crap agreement every day, and without a shadow of a doubt, I believe though the CWU might, with their buddies in the RM boardroom, celebrate a YES victory in the ballot, many of the NO voters will quit the union angry that yet another campaign by CWU HQ to take postal workers a few more steps backwards, has been once again successful.

Don't know about anybody else but we've already had some PP leaflets from a well known Party - they arrived by SD on Wednesday! Really quick off the mark.

You just hope he's gone for a pint axeman - it never does to question a mans integrity  But I think he'll be replying to that - in fact I could probably reply in his absence - but I wouldn't want to steal his thunder :chuckle

Yes ,expect to listen in wonder to "the greatest story ever told" about the great sacrifice made especially in GOD's TRIANGLE,
as someone brilliantly reffered to this place as, without that sacrifice we would not have this great deal, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
