I just wonder how many times he practised that - if you just listen to the words it's ridiculous - everyone who has a full time job will still have a full time job BUT later - yes of course there will be job losses - wtf.
Does any of this translate into plain English.
Our members will see that this is a good agreement, our reps will have as much support as they need as never before, there is a new understanding in the workplace - actually there isn't - in most DOs I would imagine the new understanding between managers and reps is in thinking what a crap deal this is for both sides at their level.
Finally I know I have said it before but who is producing this CWU TV - where is it filmed, and who is the first year media studies bozo working the camera - the first two questions you'd have to wonder if DW was actually in the room and for the most part the two on camera were scrunched into half a screen.
Still it pretty much sums up the whole operation.......................amateurish.
What do you want then? Huge amounts of members money used to film the same interview in a lavish setting, with a couple of million £ on computer-generated imagery playing in the background, so you can rant about how much was spent ?
Look, I am not saying the CWU is above criticism. But this video does what it needs to do - it communicates the message to it's audience. Whether you like that message is your personal choice. But this criticism just for the sake of it is wearing a bit thin now.
Actually HSO I would call the backdrop to the video lavish, have you got a view like that outside your window, and that is why I asked where it was filmed.
The CWU is a huge organisation who touted CWU TV as the new media - that interview was amateurish, the filming, and not for the first time, was no better than a 4th year student at a secondary modern could do with a home video. I didn't mention anything about CGIs merely criticised the camera work which anyone who looked at it objectively would say the same. If you don't like the tenure of the post don't read it!

Looks like Tower Bridge, with a possibility of it being London Bridge, they both look the same tbh
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Complete and utter crock of s**t Dave Ward you should be ashamed
