Thanks dbvk explains alot about two of its most fervent supporters

Pathetic cheapshot

It's hard to take seriously somebody who has no hesitancy in questioning the integrity of some of the posters on here, with remarks like "where were you...etc" but then starts bleating when others do the same back.
There is a difference between asking a genuinely probing question and taking a cheapshot Numan.

I have been into 4 Delivery offices today.... more than most of the critical posters on here will ever visit.

Although there is a real issue around d2d / saturdays the overwhelming majority of of members realise why the decision was made and support it.

On that basis I am not going to bother posting anymore because it is better to concentrate efforts on people who want the debate face to face and understand the backdrop to where we are.

RMC used to be a very useful tool but is now dominated by a few posters with dozens of people afraid to say anything in case they are jumped on.

If I get any updates etc I will send them via postman still as there are some very good people on here and people can PM me if they want anything as well as these come through to my email.

Take it easy all and use your vote whatever way you go!

That sounds more like you only want to concentrate on people who will put up no resistance to your argument, some CWU bods are sounding more and more like politicians everyday.

If you actually think the arguments that are being peddled on here could win a real debate then you really are so far off the mark its unbelievable. They are the same ones raised and covered off at every single membership meeting that is taking place across the uk.

There are the minority attending the meetings who have their minds made up because they are seeing a short term loss......... as always though it is the silent majority that will see this deal voted in/out.

I'll leave you and the others to pat each other on the back in your lovely world where nobody questions your views and nobody taps you on the shoulder to remind you that you are operating in a world paralell to the majority.

I won't call that last remark a cheap shot as I'm a bit more thick skinned than you. Many of us could see the pitfalls of the wording of the 2007 agreement, we were told by the likes of you that we were wrong. Subsequent events proved differently, yet not one of you who backed the P&M agreement to the hilt has admitted it was themselves that were wrong. You now have the audacity to question why we have major doubts about this deal and that again you know what's best for us.

Nobody has questioned the doubts you have over the deal Numan. I share those doubts and if you read my posts you would realise that.

But.. This agreement is different from 2007 in many ways.... backdrop, scale, acas, business on a knife edge....

I / Dingo or anyone else hasnt been singing from the roofs about the agreeement. We have taken a reasoned and balanced view..... something a lot of people on rmchat are unable to do and thats why I'm off because it is not representative of the national cwu membership.

This thread and many others..... :d'oh!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Lovejoy, I sincerely hope that you will continue to post on here.

It's good to see the 'no' voters arguments countered.

Not too many 'yes' voters manage to get a word in on here, Big Daz. That's why Lovejoy and Dingo's take on things has been interesting to hear.
There's a need for balance on here, though some wouldn't have it.

The yes voters are not censored so they can get a word in any time they feel like. If they don't like to be challenged and disagreed with that is nobody else's fault.

The 'yes' voters seem to get a fair amount of abuse. Probably because they are in a minority on here. The pack mentality holds sway. Not very edifying to witness. Puts people off.
