on 12th april that will be 11 and a half years, all in delivery and same office. Things have definitely got worse and if this agreement comes in i think thats it for me, time to get out. Just say NO you know it makes sense. :wave

SO what Royal Mail is like 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 30 and 40 :)

23 yrs this september , started as a cadet same D.O. as when i started :crazy: , Done all jobs driving, collections , walking and even had a stint with what was then cashco , but been back walking now for the past 7 yrs

I almost done 5 years.
10 years ago I was doing o.t when I felt like it,nights,afternoons,extra walk :Very Happy and getting paid for it,and getting home without any parts of my body falling off or in meltdown.

My start date was 6th April 1970. So today I am on my 40th year.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

20 yrs in dec, started as a cadet (2yrs) then went on delivery for 15 yrs and now back processing for the last 2 and a bit yrs, I have a long long way to go.
Will Royal mail exist? Will I exist? :hmmmm

21yrs in June done all functions delivery town rural driving walking processing in the days when it was done by hand

Late shift drivingup to 600 now back as a walking cycling postie, 15yrs to go for retirement but not sure who will make it to the end me or RM :Boo hoo!
