That is basically the info given out by HQ at the roadshows and from Dingo on this site.

Work Measurement/Standards and Revision Tools section also says how the measurements will be fine tuned and agreed(workshops, testing in a live enviroment)

Pegasus is one of the tools and has been around for a good few years now. IWT is nothing new to reps either.

But to be fair. There are some, who genuinely believe it's a good deal. But I doubt there are enough to get it voted in, without those who're either scared or only interested in short term gain.

Well to be fair andy if the rumours are true and members will not recieve a full copy of the agreement then you cannot blame them for not fully understanding the implications of the deal.
If it does turn out to be true i would not wish to continue to be a part of a union that deliberately attempts to misdirect it's members in such a way.
Correct me if I am wrong ,but I seem to recall certain well informed contributors telling us that EVERY member would be supplied with a FULL unedited copy of the "agreement/disagreement"

It would appear that things have moved on and it would appear the membership for whatever reason will not recieve the full agreement.
There will be comms sent by the union including an executive summary of the agreement.
I dread to think how "unbiased" an executive summary can be.

this deal stands or falls on the premise of,health and safety issues being implemented properly, bullying and harrassment being ruled out, more cwu involvement at every turn on every move in the workplace.sadly all of these procedures should be in place currently.consequently we are being asked to underwrite areas that have all ready been dealt with, yet are largely being ignored by r m.why will a further agreement achive what previous ones cannot?

As previously mentioned in an earlier post. This deal has clearly highlighted the lack of unit reps in offices.Area reps cannot be in 5 places at once. The business will strategecally place a DOM in these offices and tell them to push stuff through. What ARE WE prepared to do about it?

I know it shouldn't be neccessary for us to do this. But if you know of someone who doesn't already have a copy of the agreement, then please: Either tell them where to download it from. Or print them a copy, if they don't have Internet access.

This vote is far too important to take risks with. Every Member should have access to the full agreement, in time to read it before they vote. I know that there are a lot who can't be bothered. But at least if they've been provided with a copy, they haven't got any excuse for not knowing all the details. :hmmmm

Like HQ Andy I have tried to point out the single salient fact which is of course a NO :angel

2, Unit rep left isolated on his own with no help and a demanding DOM wanting savings (for his own bonus) doing best he can with very little release time and apathetic members, being piggy in the middle and getting abuse from both sides wondering why he bothers.
also needs to bend over every morning in front of the Dom :cuppa

1, More power to unit reps to have local agreements will be fully supported by area & divisional reps and a new coulture of trust and fairness offered by DOMS which will result in great deals for offices and happy members (and non members) leaving a stress free rep applauded for his efforts.

OR.

2, Unit rep left isolated on his own with no help and a demanding DOM wanting savings (for his own bonus) doing best he can with very little release time and apathetic members, being piggy in the middle and getting abuse from both sides wondering why he bothers.

OPINIONS.

Mixture of both

im happy with support from ADR, ive had ammeeting with planner withdrawn all day for that got a revison workshop Thursday more relaese for that.

Mbrs are a bit agitated though.

Very early stages of revision, RML want it in before xmas with no release for the DOM and no managerial OT what so ever.
