Some of the LM's from my office have been going over to Sarf-end every day this week. From what I've heard it's not just the cars, they're working to rule on everything.

Aren't 318's essentially defunct now though? After we (we? what fekkin we?) voted in The Way Backwards all 318's have that little small print at the bottom saying "or as directed by the dick in the suit" Meaning in essence we don't actually have an official duty.

Mate, if you let it be so, it will be so!!!!!! I use it all the time when a screw asks me to move... If they spout the "AS REQUIRED" I ask for it in writing and my Union reps sign it as well.. And still i wont move until its agreed that Double devolutions wont take place on my duty... And if its lapsed then it should go out on O/T for half of my duty.. As im a M,C. worker now.... Every job and minute SHOULD BE LOGGED.... THERE RULES... Thats how to keep jobs n not lose em!!! SAVE A JOB NOT JUST THE WHALES AND ANIMALS... SAVE A POSTIES LIVELYHOOD!!!

So far I haven't had the "or as advised" bollox thrown at me yet. I'm a bit too militant for them to try it on with.
I'm sure they know who they can do it to and get away with it though.

Its all well n good being MILITANT But having the bollox and brains to use the RULES that RM and the CWU agree with is another thing...

Anyone can stand up and shout... But as ive read on this site a piece of great advice.. "ITS NOT WHEN WE STRIKE, ITS HOW WE STRIKE."
Clever striking and making the media and spin that RM , Goverments and Papers use all the time to good use.... The public will listen if we all
work as one in a positive manor of striking... IM BACKING THE CWU 100% IN THIS ACTION THEY NOW ADOPT..

The 318 issue is there for all us posties to use and work to... NOTHING had been agreed about "as required"

RIGHT ON TOMMO IT HAS TO BE SAID. ANOTHER THORN IN RM'S SIDE IS THE PEOPLE THAT STARTED BEFORE 1987. IT MEANS YOUR CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT IS IN THE OFFICE YOU STARTED IN AND YOU CAN'T BE SENT TO OTHER OFFICES TO WORK .JUST ONE MORE . THING THEY'D LOVE TO DO AWAY WITH
