Plenty of keys in doors. 2 sets in one day once. The usual loose change. A Scottish £20 note the last and biggest find.

I found £50 emptying a box. Gave it in, manager kept it for a week. Took it to the police, no-one claimed it, I got it back.

I was once delivering on Shays drive which is an affluent area of Clitheroe Lancashire and found a brand new I phone. It was on someones path so I knocked on the house (It was a Saturday Morning) and when they answered and I said "Morning I have just found this mobile phone on the path and was wondering if it was yours or a member of your family?" He sais "yes and cheers for getting me out of bed" ,took the phone and slammed the door in my face. Thanks very much for that those phones are really cheap aren't they?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I found a dead cat today, I got a real shock when I saw it.

I felt quite depressed for the rest of my round.

I found religion once on my walk........
but I lost it again the next day.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
