For the first time in God knows how long I actually read this months. The tone of the article on modernization is as if it is fact, and already a done deal.Don't these clowns know we still have a vote?

I particularly like the way they are assuming the proposal has been agreed.
Most of the content is made up anyway. If they came to my office, nobody would appear in the rubbish rag.

Yes. But they're counting on the majority not bothering to read the deal, and just vote for the money. Believe it or not, there are some who'll fall for that. Even though many will be worse off in the long term. They just see the words "lump sum", and fall over themselves to vote for it. :d'oh! :arrrghhh :d'oh!

Are the people in the modernisation article really postmen/women or actors and catologue models?

God almighty, if ever I become as feckin' sad as that, I hope and pray I have enough sense left to commit suicide.

Well, I suppose we can't blame the w*****s for taking us for granted, when you ask yourself, "when was the last time postal workers said NO to a crap deal?", I think if I was a w****r, I'd look on us as being a right bunch of Turkeys forever voting for Christmas. :cuppa

If Royal Mail want to save some a lot of CASH and keep a few decent, hard-working Posties in a Job.. Here's a solution - Only send the Courier out to people who want it.. - i.e. to someone who subscribes to it and change it, so it's sent by e-mail, call it the e-Courier to jazz it up a bit cause my Posties just a middle-man cause it goes straight in the bin... Middle-man and bin - there's a bit of Déjà vu - if only i had a £1 for every time a customer has said the same to me as i pass over a d2d along with their mail, i could retire with a nice little pot of cash to rival Cozier's little golden-handshake.. :dance

I suppose now I've decided to send back immediately, any copies of those mind-numbingly repetitive rags, the Voice, and the Courier, I'll have to go back to using Andrex. :cuppa
