Re: Royal Mail: Bicycles — Question
Lord Colwyn (Conservative)
My Lords, the Minister probably is not aware that the last two times I have been knocked off my bicycle were by GPO vans.
Do you think it was the same driver?
Although if they were GPO vans it must have been quite a few years ago.

Nice to see the level of debate achieves such a high standard in the Lords.
Gives you confidence in the system. No tax payers money wasted there then. LOL.

Re: Royal Mail: Bicycles : Question
Being a cyclist, was asked - told? - "You can service our bikes..."
( I assume this was before the scrapping thing was decided.)
Then the Deal Clincher..."You get an extra £8!"
Funny thing is, Halfords charge £10 per hour.
Rip off Britain or RIP RM Bikes?

Royal Mail is set to ditch bicycles............
The Royal Mail is set to ditch bicycles for postmen and women it was revealed in the House of Lords this week.........
In a letter, out-going chief executive Adam Crozier said the 24,000 bicycles were being phased out because they pose a "safety risk associated with busy street networks, where the rider is exposed to greater risk than other vehicle users".
