Next year D2D could have disappeared with a rival company coming in and taking it! This way at least the £20 is in your basic and CANNOT be taken away.
You all seem to have this idea that D2D was your by right to deliver. I can remember when no one wanted to deliver it! now all of a sudden D2D is the most vital part of your jobs.

And just how can it not be taken away it's a supplement like........ESA and NOT in basic pay.
The reason D2D is so vital now is simply because our basic pay has been eroded to such an extent that it IS a vital part of our take home pay.

I'm one of 'em, Daz.
If RM, on the back of a profit-making year, decide in their infinite stupidity to refuse us a payrise, we do what we did in the old days, take industrial action.
It seems perfectly reasonable to me, to expect that those who did most to ensure a profitable outcome, get rewarded for having done so, via a rise in basic pay. Adam Crozier, the least productive employee gets a £2million bonus in a couple of weeks, and that on top of the millions he's already snaffled up, c'mon, fair's fair, mate. Or, it should be.
D2D, well, let's be totally honest, a product detested by 99.9% of the population of Great Britain, a product we've never been decently rewarded for doing, and with this latest fiasco of an agreement, will end up worse off for doing more of the shyte!

What guarantee is their that RML share of group profits will be record breaking? We are the poor relation in the group these days.

Sadly I have negative vision of Fury and Pullinger being told sorry no money for your members and the answer being its all been spent on RML.

We must ensure we dont forget POl and PF in our desire to get more money.

Any withdrawl must be phased so as RML profits build up we get more basic pay, that DTD income is not going to be replaced overnight if we pull out of DTD.

Hi I'm new to the site, have read a few post about this, one of my concerns is that every office will have a local agreement on their working spans, if we hear of an office that has something that sounds better than what we agree on, then how is the union going be able to get a national support for it's members to improve working conditions

Within my own branch,i have on many many ocations mentioned that local aggrement's cause a lot of friction between offices,but it as always fell on deaf ears.
my office is one off the weaker one's,so we get shafted more often than not

The spans are determined by the type of duties you want in your D.O, for example moving to a 4 day week would very likely need duties to take on more outdoor work to fill out the longer working day.

There is no local aggreement for delivery spans,what will happen is there is not a set span to aim for when constructing duties

Rep should be released by RML to meet with the mbrs to discuss their objectives and then in conjunction with planner and DOM build up a set of duties which the local membership then get to vote on.

well,first of all Daz you will have to see the menu of attendance patterns and then discuss with your DOM which will be available with respect to your D.Os workplan.
Then and only then will you be able to approach the members with a view to discussing their wishes.

I will approach my mmebers when it suits my members and I, not when it suits the DOM.

I want to know what my mbrs want out of the revision BEFORE i see the DOM and then I will disccuss those desires aims and objectives with the DOM to see if we can make them a reality.

I can understand voting Yes or No to this deal but I could never get my head round refusing to vote. Why pay subs if you don't want to have a say, however small, in how the Union/RM is run. Its crazy I tell ya

I must say, after reading the details, i just cant believe the CWU expect us to agree to it. it seems to me that the front line delivery staff are in for rough end of stick yet again. I personally will stand to lose around £1,500 per anum, with that and the later starts (again) and longer saturdays, its thanks but NO WAY. Voting NO !

I'm astounded that as many as 154 colleagues, think it's a good idea to vote in favour of making the job even more impossible than it already is.
