So my question Dingo is what happens to an office who stood up to rm and then was left with f**k all support from our branch Glasgow and District or the national officers we got in contact with, we stupidly believed this time it would be different and rm would resolve all issues under the interim agreement.

Now any future agreement will be abused in our office in particular and that's all to do with a weak branch not dealing with rm management or caring for the so called members there supposed to represent so dingo i'm glad you got your issues resolved by sticking together but up here we have no chance with this branch and if the CWU hierachy insist on ignoring what's going on then why not give us our rule13 and we'll defend ourselves we were doing a pretty good job of it before instead of all the failed promises.

dingo wrote:Now TBT and others the postal executive carried a policy at the meeting when the agreement was endorsed which said a ballot would not go out until the interim agreement issues were resolved. Whilst London had the most problems , other branchs have now resolved their issues. This is not looking after London is was recognising that the interim issues had to be resolved.
Dingo i've just read your post again, This part about other branches having had their issues resolved is not accurate!!!

I accept that this is not your responsability but just to let you know that, these issues are not even being addressed elsewhere let alone resolved. Which may explain some of the anger aimed at London.

Bang on!

In our area, we are fighting a losing battle for asking for much less than "4 day weeks.

its quite simple really
everybody every office demand a 4 day week they even took all those of our drivers but kept same del models on them
same calls less hrs now they have to sort pt duties pkts as well
so well done cwu
if london can achieve a 4 day week so can we all via national agreement
if not cwu should face corruption charges against rest of its members who pay same subs
but treated like 2nd class citizens watch what you doing cwu big bros watching
pure case of discrimination all senior cwu officialls should be sacked for encouraging this
if london get we all want
