I had one on my old rest day cover duty for an old girl's 100th birthday, the regular postie who had been on the walk for 25 years was a bit disappointed it came on his day off

today i delivered 2 an old folk's home. They were having a party for a lady who was 100 today. I had never met anyone that age b4 and neither did most of the residents who were all happy for her. I kept getting asked if i delivered the card from the queen which was on show. So who sends it? RM or some special service from the palace?

soon she will deliver it herself as there will be no posties to do it for her.

I delivered one on my walk , got invited in to give it to the lady . The family were all there taking pictures and videoing it , then I got invited to sit down and have some tea and cake.

Whilst I was a reserve I had one for a walk that I got to before the oldy woke up. It was pi55in9 with rain and the thing was absolutly soaked, propper ruined, the letterbox was a joke wher you had to fold the mail to get it through and then chance it to ensure you kept your fingertips....It was totally ruined by the time it landed on the hallway floor.

I though about feeling bad...but then again,....f@$k em..

We were told it had to be the manager to deliver them. He asked me to do one once because he couldn't be bothered but I refused and said he should take it.

I was lucky enough to be able to hand deliver my nan and granddads 60th wedding anniversary card from the queen (even though it was not in my D/O) just made the day even more special
