Re: Does this deal stop us cutting off?
There are so many issues within this agreement that only the fool hardy will vote yes for. Every day we see another question that has not got a straight yes or no included in the agreement, and it is totally subject to interpretation whichever way RM wish to use it. After 4 months of negotiation we have a CWU negotiating team that has not got anywhere near crossing the Ts and dotting the Is. This agreement has been ratified by Acas. Are they that stupid that they cannot see the problems that such a woolly agreement is throwing up. The underpinning issue for most of the postment that went out on strike are the terms and conditions of employment and not the pay structure. This last year Royal Mail has blatantly harrassed, bullied and pushed more and more work on to us, using the last woolly agreement and this agreement was supposed to put an end to intimidation and draconian management practises. It has not and therefore the people that are supposed to have our welfare at heart, have sold us for a penny, for their own self interest. A no vote is a must and we must be prepared to stand tall and be prepared to fight until there is nothing worth fighting for.

Good call. Yes we must stand tall and not accept this step into the abyss just because it comes from the Union. Infact it comes from a table full of fat jokers who haven't been on the coal face for years. Who decides our future them or us?
