hi friends,
I'm new here, I'm a postwomen and has been working for Royal mail for about 10 years.
I have problem with my back therefore I'm not able to do my normal duty, I have been told that I may get an early medical retirement because of my condition. I just wonder what are the terms and conditions of an early retirement etc.
I heard from some colleagues that if you get an early medical retirement I may get a small lump of payment from royal, has any body know about how much would that be? I guess it is not that significant of money? I have two small kidds I don't think I would survive on benifet money from DSS, that is realy up setting and very stressful to think that I would have difficult times ahead.
could any body give me some advice? I know you would say why don't I get some help from my local union rep? because I'm not getting on well with my local Union rep for some personal issues.
hope hear from you soon.
x
