Anyway, your £10.50 and £12.37 would stay the same unless of course your walk was made bigger.
The supplement goes up with pay rises.

Having a supplement in itself is not the problem.
Having one that is unfair to P/T staff and leaves many seriously out of pocket is.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

The out of pocket thing in time will be addressed by the rise it would get each year,ok for some it will take longer than others.

The p/t thing i'm 100% with you.
But there seems to be a confusion on who preps some p/t walks and who would prep the D2D's.Various offices have different systems.
I for one would be against a p/t coming in and having to prep and deliver his 16% for pro rata.
But,would p/t's be happy(ier) if EVERYTHING was prepped and it was just a case of tieing up and going. An interesting one possibly.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Well just how long it will take to address is rather up in the air at the moment.
The only definite rise in the supplement in this agreement is the 1.5% in 2011.
The 3.5% is vague as management seem to feel this is dependant on the plan being "on track" whatever that means.
As far as P/T not prepping D2D we have many on 30hr contracts and if they are just tieing up and going thats a hell of a big delivery(about 5hrs).
And on a 4 day week which they all want it just gets damm scary.

I will lose the vote? It's not my vote, it's called democracy .You might see it as a lie because you choose not to see the truth. Your's is a blinkered view, you've convinced yourself you're right and everyone elses views are wrong. Take off your blinkers and see what's happening around you, people losing their jobs left right and centre, people taking pay cuts just to keep a job. We've got a deal that secures jobs, allows people who want to leave the job with a payment, a pay increase and a supplement paid 52 weeks of the year whether you're at work or not. Me, I'll be voting yes because what is on the table is better than nothing at all.
all this 'blinkers' stuff, we heard this at our reps meeting when we were lectured by the area and div rep etc, must have been a big thing at the Eastbourne brain-washing week by the seaside.

Razz, your spelling and grammar are very good by the way, almost too good, the first bit must have taken somebody an age to write. You'll go far in your chosen career, as long as people vote for you that is...

Kirk: "Let them die."

If RM put more into the envelope then the payment would rise. I worked that out on the lowest figure you gave.
That is assuming RM can get companies like Tesco and Co-Op to put there leaflets into the same envelope in the first pace.
maybe I would end up delivering two envelopes at 3.5p each but so would the AG and 1 hour contract, much more acceptable.

To be honest I dont give a monkeys who preps the DTD so long as the new work rates do what they say on the tin and put DTD into workload. If I dont prep my own DTD then that reduces my indoor workload and increases my outdoor workload, increasing outdoor workload i thought was a big evil thing?

I approach my pay on the overall amount I earn, the amount of the various component parts takes 2nd place to overall pay.

you don't care who preps d2d?

I care cos I do and I am liable to have to prep more under this agreement

I approach my pay on how much work I do

under this agreement I will be doing more work for less pay

as a rep tell me why did I go on strike?
