I will vote no, not sure what we'll get back though.

Our rep came back from a meeting with other local reps and was told in no uncertain terms this is the best we will get.

And you believe this? Well done for voting no, but RM are not in a position not to compromise if a no vote is achieved. We have the ability to close down a major communications network at a time when there is a general election about to take place. If your reps want to be lilly livered, let them. We have all the power and probably more so than we did before christmas and dont let anyone persuade you otherwise.

no from me ,because i am on delivery, but those who work else where will probable vote yes. they most see their are srings attached to the deal. you don/t just get lump sums without meeting targets,i.e revision etc.

Wise words :Applause

Weve been stitched up in the past with the carrot of a lump sum and then paid it back many times over to our cost. :cry

No, it will drag on for a few weeks and the General Election will be over before any strike could kick in.

As far as I understand, other areas of the company are not too pleased with the deal, either. Delivery have it worst, but it's not picnic for drivers, mail centres, etc etc.

And LL you think that any incoming party will be looking forward to taking on all the industrial unrest that is going on in this country at present.?
