leave after the unsual round of questions

why have you missed your van? driver left before I start
why are you still here? driver never tied my duty up, or redirections or packet bag
why do you need a lift, you have a allocated driver who drops your bags off? he left remember
why do you need overtime? I finish in 2 hours mate and i'm still in the office with 4 hours worth of delivery
why is your lapsing still in frame? :funneh :funneh :funneh

Arrive 10am First letter can be 11.10am-1130am depending on how quick taxi arrives. My duty is furthest from office

Ive not been out that early since the loss of the 5am starts. What time do you get in on a sat :hmmmm

Were normally out around 8.30 on a sat.

our start times are (up to now anyway)
0700 mon -tues
0600 wed to fri
0500 sat
for how long only ? knows :arrrghhh

Ah that explains it. Christ i really miss the early sats i dont get back till 12.30 now. Whats it going feel like if we have to work till 3pm doing d2d's :cry :cry

I would love to start at 5am on Sat ..at least then most of the w/e wouldn't be wasted :sad:
Saturdays will soon be even more down the pan than they already are :arrrghhh
Just say NO ....to the new agreement.

There was NO loss of the 5am starts on a Saturday, it was in the last agreement. If the majority in the office agreed then you could keep 5am Saturdays, as we did.

I was off last Saturday and got up at 7.15, the mail was on the mat already :shock: We go out around 8.15 Saturdays, 9-9.30 the rest of the week.

Ive not had or delivered mail that early in a long time :cry Was perhaps your road being absorbed that day ?

When the missorts show up, so between 0845-0900.
That is assuming the MC isn't still sending mech up at half 8 :mad

Saturday we leave when we're ready. Most of us start about 5 and are out for half 7, even earlier if it's quiet.

No manager :) sounds like heaven...

We get told we can go at 09:30 during the week but a lot of posties in my office sit at their frames taking their meal breaks before going out at 09:50 but there's a lot that charge out the door the second they are told they can go :d'oh!. Saturdays it's around 07:00-07:30 because we start at 05:00.

8 of you, wow your office must be tiny :shock: I thought mine was small with 30 odd staff!

We have a saying in our DO

"Flex and Go"

so most don't take breaks so they can leave early.

They don't have to wait for the missorts.
(I thought there was still a clear office policy???!!!!) DOM doesn't get pulled up for leaving mail!!!!

They take their Flex/Absorbing/whatever its called in their own cars and then on to their own deliveries.

FOOLS

See them all rush out the door at 7.15 on a Saturday (7.00 if the DOM aint there, which is most Saturdays :no no )
No absorbing or D2Ds on a Saturday...........Yet! :sad:
