Like the 'menu of options' for delivery spans or the performance standards.
The agreement has been published in full, anything else still to be published IS NOT IN THE AGREEMENT!

And like everything outside the agreement will be subject to alteration if necessary. :hmmmm

Is Bob Gibson or Wardie going to buy my £1,300 worth of season tickets off me and the wife and then let us borrow them back when on the off chance we both get a saturday off? No i don`t think so,Yet another reason for me to push for a no vote.

We have a MASSIVE decision to make. Here are the questions :

1) Do we want 1.2 billion spent on Modernisation? (Sequencing Machines)

2) If we do,do we want the machines to run Mon-Fri? Or Mon-Sat?

3) Why would any business want to spend that kind of money and not use it?

Not selling the deal but in 2006 we welcomed that money. When we found out that these machines were collecting dust in Deptford we moaned. Now we only want them working when WE want. Do you think the public would welcome their mail only delivered Mon-Fri?

We need to decide what we want to do as a public service,.....or not

There are so many indavidual 'deal breakers' for members in this agreement. that we might get a no vote. if it was just saturdays or D2D or delivery spans. I'm certain they would get it through......This might seem perverse but this deal is so bad we have a fighting chance. :dance

This business is about as far removed from a public service as is possible.
Being owned by the goverment does not make you a public service just ask RBS next time you pop into your local branch. :hmmmm

Let's just say...if YOU input a call rate at 100%. At 2mph walk speed,(stay with me). What do you think it will "spit out"? You will end up with MORE hours. The parameters before were not agreed. They are now, however we do not trust them. This is the problem.

A lost you when you said 2 MPH walking speed :left: do you realisticly think it will be halfed, from the 4 MPH that was previously being used.

What would be best, 1 Sat in 6 off, or 1 in 4. 2 in 12 weeks or 3 in 12 weeks? We're talking about an extra Saturday off once every 3 months (or 4 extra a year, wow!). What about the 9 weeks out of 12 you'll be working till god knows when on a Saturday. This really should be a no-brainer, but some people just can't be helped.

Your rep will have a 4 week workshop trining on geo route. He NEVER was involved before because a business plan to precident. The business plan HAS NOW GOT TO BE PART OF THE AGREEMENT.It depends on your regional director not "having his own policies"

This is what the CWU HQ have to combat.

Mr Poole was adamant in this not happening.Time will tell......

P&M 2007 promised a lot.....they walked over us until it went national........

Oh yes it will - take a look at the agreement again, the revisions and work shops are mentioned and will be subject to the agreement post voting, no doubt about it.
