But if we attend or attempt to attend work they have to pay us surely.
It wouldn't look too good on the TV news for RM if they locked us out. There's us prepared to turn into work, the general public who seem to have been quite supportive watching and wondering if it's a one day strike why they can't have their mail and yet another high ranking manager who none of us has ever heard of trying to explain that away. It could only assist us.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I would think so - but they may specify WHERE we have to work in order to get paid, and I have no intention of crossing picket lines at other units.

Think about it ...who will process mail and despatch it for Thursday morning as the MCs will be out then what happens on Saturday when MC drivers come up against picket lines at local Delivery Offices.

I can just imagine them trying to complete a jigsaw with a piece missing - find the missing piece on the floor and when they turn back to the table, someone's nicked another piece - delightfully wicked and sure to provide unlimited entertainment over the next couple of weeks.

I know we are in a serious situation but no-one said you shouldn't have fun :nana :nana :nana :nana

In addition to strike action, the Union is stepping up our campaign to make pressure groups and the public aware that postal workers are taking this action in an attempt to defend and protect postal services.
from cwu release.

Lets hope they get this message across strongly before we take our next IA.
