I wasnt aware I had a obligation to justify it
Im just a local rep in medium small D.O not a PEC members or HQ officer.
Im far more interessed in my members than RM briefings to their managers.
What is it about RML "interpretation" that differs from the proposed agreement?
Are you saying RML "interpretation" is wrong? Please do tell what the correct "interpretation" is?

If Managers give this Briefing I think they will persuade a lot more people to vote NO.
Managers wont be giving this briefing, its a brefing for managers.
managers would only inform us of this after a yes vote.

Firstly thanks TBT,got the document
Have to agree with you that it looks pretty much like what the CWU outlined in the letter to members.
Though why HQ and apparently you think we should vote for a deal that includes retiring at 65 and no max delivery span amazes me.

I don't think you'll get this version, they'll be focusing on lump sums and reduced working week.

again- the top 10 percent is based on similarily made up offices
& compared to each other,
So in one office staff will be 'encouraged' to rush round and get done early and given sweeteners like early home, or 1 in 3 Sats off, or ghost OT. The other 9 offices in the area will be given no sweeteners and told they have to perform to the standards of this 'model' office (where a lot of them are bribed to rush round) or face the sack. Great tool, guaranteed to create a climate of fear and management bully boys. A rush-your-delivery charter. Top 10% is the nail in the coffin for doing the job right.
Unfortunately mate, its similarily made up offices, not the same area offices , so the benchmark maybe 50 miles away
I think BD is looking for a career change - perhaps into the engineering section that appears to be opening up to mature entrants, or maybe not, maybe he feels this agreement IS the answer to creating a WMC - though it might help if we got the customer to pay a realistic price for DSA and the pension fund was made solvent, but hey lets get the proles to pay.
