It reads like a bulldozer. Perhaps I will reconsider my yes vote. It seems the CWU has their interpretation of this deal and Royal Mail clearly have a different one. I think they must have drugged Dave and Billy with the RM drug.

Re: MANAGEMENT BRIEFING 2010 AND BEYOND
The things that RM are quoting from the agreement are set in stone....CWU's claimes are full of, if's, buts and maybes.rmdriver wrote:It reads like a bulldozer. Perhaps I will reconsider my yes vote. Re: MANAGEMENT BRIEFING 2010 AND BEYOND
Well far be it ................. but some on here told you so.
I saw it this morning and I actually thought it looked .......well not as bad as I thought it might be.
But it is truly horrendous................................ and to think that Roger Pool is going to police this agreement and do what exactly?, call them back into the room and have them talk again...................
- of course not - agree to this deal and by the end of this agreement period you won't recognise your workplace.

Well it isn't their take on the agreement IT IS the agreement - there is no ambiguity in their model.Just_My_Opinion wrote:So erm when is dingo, lovejoy, big daz or The Truth going to comment and try and justify Royal Mail's interpretation on the agreement?

Dont forget Razammataz, he is also a believer. Well, i am deffo going to take a copy of this to any meeting I go to. They will have some answering to do and if the Union can argue themselves out of this one, we are all sunk without a paddle.

Re: MANAGEMENT BRIEFING 2010 AND BEYOND
I have tried to explain this on other threads, but I'll trysteviemac wrote:is RM saying we all have to match the standards and performance of the first 10% back to the office, what is this top 10% all about refer slide 6
again- the top 10 percent is based on similarily made up offices
& compared to each other, the 10 percent best performing based on
IPWH will be the target that similar size units need to aspire to meet.
Using IWT/BSI measures is how we individually help the unit acheive
top ten performance & by the way this is not likely to need agreement
on how the top ten are identified

Re: MANAGEMENT BRIEFING 2010 AND BEYOND
So in one office staff will be 'encouraged' to rush round and get done early and given sweeteners like early home, or 1 in 3 Sats off, or ghost OT. The other 9 offices in the area will be given no sweeteners and told they have to perform to the standards of this 'model' office (where a lot of them are bribed to rush round) or face the sack. Great tool, guaranteed to create a climate of fear and management bully boys. A rush-your-delivery charter. Top 10% is the nail in the coffin for doing the job right.Steviea34 wrote:
