I am just about old enough to remember where I was when JFK was shot, and can remember the fall of The Berlin Wall, and the Twin Towers.
I wonder for how long I shall remember where I was when a customer came in clutching a letter from Post Office Telecoms informing her that a ‘historic billing inaccuracy’ had taken place.
Who the merry hell writes this stuff?

Presumably a 'billing inaccuracy' that goes back a while in time, i.e. they've not just recently cocked up your bill but a mistake made some time ago has resulted in a succession of innacurate bills
