Had a meeting at work today where our local rep of 25 years service said there is no way he can support this deal and resigned
He couldn't get his head round the fact he was expected to recommend a yes vote for a deal where we lose at least a tenner a week
and the rest... This will lead to most in our office quitting the union.

Widespread talk at my office of people quitting the union to pocket the £3.01p per week if this deal goes through.
Lets be honest. Why have a union that shows the tendency to roll over and die. Perhaps in the past the CWU were strong but in recent years its got worse.
I never would have thought id be on strike for a pay cut. Not in a million years.

I'll quit the union if the deal is rejected, no way I'm supporting more strike action, it would be a totally f***ing pointless waste of money for no gain.
