I know it can`t have been easy because many in the branch would have desperately wanted a different outcome.

Quite so Mitzi - when you think of the salary some of these Div Reps are on it is no wonder they don't want to rock the boat - maybe the ordinary postie thinks that Div Reps are on the same pay scale as them - not so they are paid the same as managers up and beyond £30,000 a year - oh yes life is tough at the top - and oh so easy to follow the diktat of HQ, WHEN THEY AREN'T GOING TO LOSE A PENNY AND WILL IN FACT GAIN.

Well done indeed! :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause

We have heard enough from the lick spittle sheep who follow the diktat of a spent leadership devoid of any integrity and honesty who need to tour the country like snake oil salesmen trying to sell a deal that is a betrayal of the honest grass roots members.

A deal worth consideration would sell itself it would not need a procession of overweight salesmen with glib cockney chat.

Every Division should take a leaf out of L and C and truly reflect the feeling of the membership and not HQ who stand more to gain from this deal than your average postman.
There were many many branches that recommended a no vote on the 2007 agreement, very few succeeded, so we will have to see what a true reflection of the feeling of the membership is. I suspect the deal will go through and the blame will shift from the snake oil salesmen, to the spineless sheep that blindly bought the spin or the cowards that could not be bothered to vote. But hey, the rightous will still be able to hold their heads high and say that the real majority of this union was sold down the river.

Oh and why should every Division take a leaf out of the L&C Branch, it is one out of 11 branches within the North Wales/North West Division, or do you consider it to be a true reflection of the Divisions feelings?

EJL are u for real nearly every delivery postman will "LOSE MONEY" what reason have any other office got to go for a no vote...or are you one of the reps that have not the balls to stand up and be counted....who the f*ck would vote for a pay cut .. I THINK THE N LANCS AND CUMBRIA VOTE REFLECTS THE OPINION OF THE WHOLE MEMBERSHIP

"Bristol recommendation meeting tomorrow at eleven"
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Given the statements made at the national briefing they will recommend a NO.

History shows it makes a huge difference. The likes of you and I will think / judge for ourselves but a very large % of members will go with branch recommendations. Previous agreements / elections support this.
