Righto then - whatever Royal Mail want then Dave - BUT who is it that actually pays your wages - is that Royal Mail or is it the membership. Did he mention what Plan B was, did he mention how far the pension negotiations were going with the Government, did he mention when the work tools would be up for perusal - no of course not. He wants a yes vote and he doesn't care what he says to get it.
The words are the words - the agreement will be implemented on those words - not some platitudes from a stage.

We could always wave a white flag or fire a few distress flares or fire H/Q the last time a deal went through like this was when checkoslovakia was invaded by the Nazi's!.
Hi its not up to the reps to sell it we get a vote its easy a yes or a no vote, i feel sorry for the office reps they are the ones who are taking the flak hq has let them down, dont know how many times i have read the agreement but it is crap nothing is set in stone my thinking is the doms have the right to walk all over us and each office is on thier own, they have ripped each area apart and diveded us, if its a yes vote god help the weak offices.

Hardly surprising, though, ClaretStevo
RM and the CWU were supposed to have got all these issues wrapped in an agreement by late January originally, if I remember correctly. I don't believe we were the only ones who were annoyed at how long it actually took to reach an agreement. You can't expect RM to allow the CWU forever and a day to then put the thing to a vote. Even if the ballot result is declared on 14th April, the whole process will already have dragged on three months longer than RM were expecting

Either way i am elected by the members to voice their opinions not impose mine and certainly not impose the cwu hq line hq dont elect me my members do.
If I Were Still A Rep,I Would Tell My Members The Deal Is Shite, And I Certainly Wouldnt Tow The Party Line
