If you don't ever have WTLL do you:
a) work 30 minutes less/week?
b) work 30 minutes for free as 30 min/week should be set aside for WTLL?

Tell him you're going to send an e-mail to "Ask Adam" suggesting that to make drastic and easy savings, sack ALL managers of DOM grade and below, resurrect the PHGs and have one PHG in the am, one in the PM, and one more to cover A/L or sickness over 3 or 4 local offices ( sort of PHG reserve ), then rejig all pay levels accordingly for grades above DOM....hey presto, annual savings of at least £20 - 30 MILLION, if not more! And that must be before any savings from bonus payments :chuckle
PHG'S can run offices better then our DIM DOMS :oops:

Got an even better one sack all managers above DOM grade for they don't work Saturday and they do not lift a finger till their edicts from above :cfo through and the pension deficit could be halved with a Stalin type purge of all senior managers who do little for anyone but themselves!.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Why not? The "Big Fella" couldn't do a worse job than Brown & Blair have, or what Cameron might......I could even have my ar*ehole as Chancellor of the Exchequer ( so, no change there, then ).
