Absolutely right DGP

Our system of D2D is far too diverse in size and location for it to be feasible.
One question for those who think it will.
Do you really think the union would want 5 D2Ds effectively turned into 1 flat that would completely negate the whole D2D into workload argument?
It is a red herring thrown into the mix to calm the fears of those worried about prepping 5,6 or 7 D2Ds
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

What like RM would "employ another work force to deliver them" because if they did they might as well deliver the mail as well or better still deliver half each and make the deliveries manageable.

And as for day specific D2D - never heard of it until this deal - so is it pie in the sky - I don't think so, for two reasons. Advertisers know that people are home on Saturday and are generally dossing about with nothing to do but read garbage - well maybe not too valid a point BUT lets just put this into perspective - a company employs agency staff to man the phones to answer queries/take orders etc now you have a Wednesday specific D2D with a special offer - you don't need the agency worker on Monday and Tuesday because your special offer is only going live from Wednesday - the advertiser probably saves money.

At The moment in my office, most of the posties take them home and slot them together while watching the tv. I have always said that they should be done in RM time and not our own. Is this true and how will we cope if we get more than 3 a week. it takes me @ 30mins to 45mins now to do them. I dont take mine home. i tend to do about 20mins a day after my round while i have a coffee.
