Out of interest, what can they do? Bring a charge of Bringing RM / PO / GPO, whatever into disrepute? If so why have they been so slip shod in their investigations into Crozier, Higson, Tolson, et al?
I think this is a half serious post so I will answer it as such.
The IB could not do you on one post with google street view, but if you have said something contentious, illegal or libellous in another post then providing them with a picture that shows where you were delivery at one point will make it easier for them to track you down. Also the face is blurred but a general description based on hight, hair, build etc would be easy to get.
Thanks TBT that is exactly what I assumed. Once they tie poster's 'screen name' with a picture on Street View they know exactly who wrote any past, or future posts on here. If you are not bothered, why not use your real name on here instead of a pseudonym. None of us do, do we?
This did cross my mind to be honest
I ve since found my van twice but still cant see me. Blimey maybe iam invisible

Monkeyboy What you have to do is open Paint (start/all programs/ Accessories/Paint) then go to pic of you on streetview and press the button "Prtscn" (Printscreen) at the top right of your keyboard. . Then once you have done that go back to Paint and press "Edit" along the top and paste . It should then paste the picture of you in Paint, for you to save .

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Its a mantra every Squaddie should know, PERsonal SECurity , do not reveal any information about yourself that would be useful to the enemy and compromise your own personal safety especially when in Northern Ireland, same should apply on here, be aware of revealing your ID which would be useful to the "RM" Enemy.
For the record, I saw a Google street view go past me, but I am not on the database, must have made another sweep for a second set of photos, I was slightly disappointed
Six of Nine loves Seven of Nine, together in Electric Dreams.
I had a run-in with a few yob's recently, so tried to phone-film them causing mayhem/hassle.
The girls in the group complained to the bobies I was filming THEM! I wasn't, it was their male mate's being stooopid I was filming..
Copper arrives after I rang them, mentioned phone-pics. All I had was 3 secs footage of the floor, LOL!
Thing is, one of the lads was shouting, "You can't prove anything, you haven't got any evidence."
You know...he's right. As with all the Rules Regs these days, you can't FART without being in trouble.
Therefore,if you actually see a Crime being undertaken, if you film/phorograph it, it's suddenly you that's the Bad Guy!
SO, I'm amazed that the "Street View" thing hasn't caused more hassle with Personal Freemdom and Liberties.
Street view can be a useful tool for helping find your way around but why does it show right into my living room through the dining room and into the back garden

Ask them to blur your windows in the street view, seriously, google will do it.
Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one
