Have you got a bastard of a walk ?

The round i covered last week was an utter tw&t and this week's walk is another monster in terms of quantity but a lot of it is terraced so i can get round it realtively quick.

Who here DOESN'T hobble like an old bloke 1st thing in the morning?

I am fine when i get up its when i ve finished walking for 5 hrs my legs start to burn and feel like jelly

There's a lot of moaning on this forum, so if you've really got a bastard of a walk let's have all the details on this thread.

Mines a bastard ...loads of stairs so u are constantly up and down...730 delivery points..(50, blocks of flats)..takes me anything between 4 and 5 hours to deliver depending how busy it is...measured my steps with my pedometer each day...yesterday 20,500 steps and burned 800 calories, going to start showing the gaffers it everytime they question me about booking o/t....i tell them everyday its cos the walks way to long but its like talking to a brick wall.......If the walks get even bigger i can see serious problems with peoples health....and royal mail says its number 1 concern is our health and safety !!! cobblers!!.......

im similar except i have 90! blocks of flats yes 90....... 92 to be exzxact!!!!!!!!

what do u put in ur "reason" for it ? on the sheet i say - LATE + HEAVY.

but might start putting WALK TO FUICKING DAM BIG SUMONE SUMWHERE HELP ME!!!!!!!

( jsut woke up from a 2 hour nap because i was exzausted as usual)

90 Flats???? 43 houses per flat equals 3870 drops alone. Do you mean you have maisonettes, 6 houses per block?? if so that equals 540 drops so thats pretty much your walk done in no time as there are no gardens or long pathways/obstacles in your way. Your walks a doddle and you know it is so stop the whining eh!!!

Infact we should report you to RM for fraudenently claiming overtime lol!!

Think youve forgotten the fact flats have security systems and stairs you need to carry weight up

Well obviously your gonna find yours easy cos you have a fob and do big block of flats with lifts

We will let him answer that one as none of us are the wiser in regards to what sort of block/building he delivers to each day, i was just giving him some figures as he keeps banging on about how he has the biggest/worst walk in the whole UK LOL!!. AMEN.

Mines 805 drops, mostly terraced houses though so no gates or drives, but full off studants so usually have 2 to 3 packet bags a day, and the fookers are never in, or if they are they are suffering from sticky matress syndrome because they can't get out of bed until gone teatime . Some very nice young ladies though so that brightens the day up
