The hour can come off in many ways and will depend entirely on your local arrival pattern - 12 mins per day, hr off sat of arrivals allow or hr off lighter day, or 30 mins off 2 days..... There won't be a standard way because there wont be a standard set of uniform duties. This will be dealt with under the revision process[/quote]

It will have exactly the same effect as doing it any other way as all the mail will be counted for under the new revision process......... gotta go mothers day duties

I post the true facts not those that HQ would have people believe - the 1 hour shorter working week will be implemented when the SEQUENCED REVISION takes place which is not this year for the vast majority, together with the other £800 which will also not be this year and in fact may never materialise if you do read the agreement - which I have read all three that have been put out and I can HONESTLY say there is not a wafer between them.

And I would like to take this opportunity to thank the guy who leaked that document whoever he was because he obviously has a conscience.

Im not sniping and not having a go at LJ but my paranoia is now creeping in. This is the same approach that RM use.
Give us this really, really crap plan and wait for the flak. They then subtly change it and express themselves a bit better and hey presto, we take it, cause it's better than the original pile of sh*t they had wanted us to swallow.
We get this really crap agreement and after a few days of everyone moaning about it, it's hey presto, LJ comes on board and gives a different slant on it, painting it all RM rosy red and we now start to think that maybe it will be ok after all.
That is maybe right but at the end of the day the problem will be TRUST just as Rhino said in another post and after years of abuse by power mad tw*ts, it will take more than just a few words along the lines of "We have to trust them in order to move forward". We tried that and sh*t is what we got. Why should it be different this time?

The vast majority of letter deliveries are planned to be completed by 1430 hours and most by 1400 hours. (The relevant principles on attendance patterns and resourcing arrangements are covered in the delivery section of this agreement)."

No it isn't! And most of the things lovejoy does say are open to interpretation and who is doing the interpreting - I would really love to get a slant on what Royal Mails interpretation of this agreement is and how they intend to implement it NOT how the likes of those not affected THINK it will be interpreted.
