I thought you were giving up the mantle or has that now changed and really stamping your feet and shouting won't cut any ice when this deal is signed.Big Daz wrote:Im the rep and I WILL make it happen office wide!!!!!!

All change after today's meeting of reps
Ive been inspired
Oh and shouting and stamping will cut the ice
Im going to make things happen rather than stand on the sidelines grumbling and saying this wont happen that wont happen.

You've been living on borrowed time with your sweet little deals daz - does inspired mean back scuttled where you come from? Nothing that is said at Reps meetings can change this deal one iota but of course you are going to recommend it to your worshipping membership - now who put that picture of quisling on the forum?Big Daz wrote:All change after today's meeting of reps![]()

Did you not say you were no longer going to be the rep but concentrate on your green commitments? So where does the green party stand on the use of 11,000 more vehicles and how about the use of 40 vehicles to deliver one delivery.

What has the green party got to do with whether or not the proposals are good or bad? Silly question anyway it obvious the green aprty dont support a load of extra vans on the road pumping out crap into the air.
Look there is change coming, every D.O needs a rep. I carry on or else we go without at my D.O
What are these sweet little deals? Hard evidence or retract your statement.
Have I upset you with my determination to ensure I do what my mbrs expect if this goes through which is DTD into workload and the saturdays off. That is what every rep should be doing is not if the agreement goes through?
Every rep in every D.O should be fighting for his or her members and when i declare my intention to do just that you slag me off.

Oh where do I start - 400 drop delivery, No IPS, No lapsing, 200 yards from the depot, 30 hour contract - so you've decided to keep your hand on the reins then - Oh the mores of the green party? - well I was just wondering how deep the commitment goes between accepting this deal and keeping the faith.
If you went to a proper delivery office you would see that things are much different - thats why I say we actually have nothing to fear from change and why we are reluctant to take a pay cut to get others to accept what we already do.

Ive got 475 calls and I work my full hours every week. I do not carve my round up, I do not start early. If that is cushy I hold my hands up guilty as charged. I belive you have cushy hours as well?
D.O is in a residential area, and has been there since i was a nipper. I remember having a tour of the D.O in my school days, sadly those dont take place any more, mail security concerns I guess or even H and S.
Now for the serious stuff
Are you advocating that I should get stiched up by RML/my DOM? Are you wanting me to experience a shitty working day . Are you wanting me to suffer. Are you wanting me to be bullied and harrased by my mangers? Do you want me to have a workload that is not acheiveable?
That is how your coming across and Im deeply disturbed by it.

Re: 2010 AND BEYOND:Agreement and LTB.
Ok
What will this proposed agreement do to my D.O then
I can see very clearly it creates winners and loosers on pay at my D.O untill 2012 payrise kicks in assuming it does and at 3.5 % and Im sad that there protection which some was not possible.
But what about the rest of it

Re: 2010 AND BEYOND:Agreement and LTB.
Look daz you do what you think best but believe me when I tell you that the changes we have experienced are coming your way and where we have been able to tailor some because there was no agreement, when they come to you with park and loop, HCTs, and loss of duties there is no defence unless you can justify the manpower to the workload because the agreement is quite specific and YOU are not in the driving seat Royal Mail is. This simple English agreement is full of not so simple language such as "overarching" now that is not a word in common parlance.Big Daz wrote:Ok

Ask yourself this very simple question and it is simple
forget the union speak, forget the £1000 only 200 of that is now and is dependent on non-sequenced revision, the other lump sums are ours by right, ignore the 75/25 split totally pie in the sky no one is going to be able to secure that even by 2013 - which is the proposed date and there is no projection for what the employment levels will be by then,
Would we be better or worse off with this agreement - ask from this agreement those things for which we went on strike which was
does this agreement fulfil those ambitions? If you think it does vote YES but if you think it doesn't - it's a NO.

Re: 2010 AND BEYOND:Agreement and LTB.
Ooodles and oodles of job and finish going is fine by me, some in my D.O have lost their way and need to brought back to the path kicking and screaming if nesscary. I was taught to look after my deliveries not to carve them up etc etc and if I didnt managers would put more work on. Once upon a time it was cultural no no to carve duties up at my D.O. That went out the window with J and F
Lets be clear I want to see everyone working the hours they are paid for but with a reasonable and fair workoad in those hours. Im a big fan of a outdoor revison taking place for rural duties as we have 15 FT rurals and they have been 15 FT duties for donkeys years, allways staying at 15 FT duties at every single revsion. Since 2006 Urban duties have permantley lost 3 deliveries, one under pegasus and two under that savings for payrise deal a few years back 2006 was it Where we ended up with £3 a week payrise?

Re: 2010 AND BEYOND:Agreement and LTB.
Are the union going to be making the members aware nationally of how job and knock f***s things up or will it be left to reps at a local level to educate their members?

Job and finish went in 2007 we are now in 2010 so how do you still have spare capacity?Big Daz wrote:Ooodles and oodles of job and finish going is fine by me, some in my D.O have lost their way and need to brought back to the path kicking and screaming if nesscary.
