After a recent accident on duty, I'm currently on light dutys. I've been to my doctors, and already had an ATOS phone interview, I have been waiting for a hospital appointment which I've been told can take upto 11 weeks to receive, so line manager set up another ATOS phone interview, because its taking so long.
So I'm sitting with the family tonight watching the The Show on BBC1, when my mobile goes but before I could answer it rings off, message left its from ATOS to call them back?
Here is my question, have they the right to call me outside of my Royal Mail working hours normally 08:30 to 14:15, and should I call them back at my expense.

Forgot to say that they screwed up my first telephone interview, twice call my home phone when clearly instructed to call my mobile. They were asked to call upto 14:15 as I would be free to take thier call, but called twice at 15:00 while I was out collecting kids from school. And once called while I was travelling home at 14:30 was on a bus told them I could not talk, so they put me down as a failure to attend interview.
Will not be returnign the call will tell line manager of call at home and the time of call.

Funny lot ATOS. I was put on light duties due to a knee injury. Advised by physiotherapist to start building up slowly. Explained this to my boss who arranged an ATOS call. ATOS agreed to this, but the woman I spoke to had no clue. She then emailed my boss to start me walking 5 hrs a day for the first week, 6 hrs for the 2nd week and so on. Nice build up considering I only work 4hrs 48 a week

Yes, they can phone you that late. Don't forget, there are plenty of Posties who work Lates or Nights. Not everyone is on Deliveries. So ATOS don't work the same hours that you do.
It's very inconsiderate of them (but that's nothing new, with them), but they can do it.

Whilst not directly related to the subject matter it is however an interesting insight:
