The Workers Voice

Post by kendo1 »

This agreement clearly and without doubt shows how out of touch the CWU are with its memebers and grassroots.

The Voice I have heard since christmas that tells it how it is on the Shop floor of RM
is Mr Roy Mail
a forum meber and Author whose works have been on radio 2 .!

Rining in my ears now is a quote from his book regarding stikes.

Think it goes something like this,The reason he and his mates went on strike for, may have not been the same reasons as The Union ?

I and my mates went on STRIKE last year -NOT FOR MONEY-WE LIVE IN DIFFICULT TIMES!
We went on strike due to Impossible unfair work loads ,bullying Managers ,staff being suspended over cutting off ,and a independent reveiw of our workload /walks.

What the Union Has got us ,is a pay cut ,and a substantial increase in work load ,no independent checks ,
Managers still the same ,threating staff with suspension.

The VOICE of the CWU ,Billy and Dave and PEC,No longer represent the veiws of the Delivery worker in RM in 2010 .

The VOICE that tells the Outside world what life is like as a Postie is Roy mail.

May be if he could find time ,and cares to ,Put pen to paper again and tell the Public how much junk mail they will be getting in future and their delivery times etc.
The Media took a lot of intrest in Mr Mail ,so assume his work must be respected. We need a voice to show how corrupt to Billy and Dave are to their Labour Party Masters.

Where is Brendan Barber in all this now ? surely he represents the working man and should find out why their is so much opposition to this agreement from
the average deilvery worker?

That's very nice of you to say all of this about me kendo1.

I've been posting a lot of stuff on this site, but you can get links to all of my writing here: http://roymayall.wordpress.com/

Currently the Guardian website like to post my stuff, and I have a blog on the London Review of Books website. I think I should be writing for the Daily Mirror though. That's much more my style.

Thanks again for supporting me in my efforts. I'm doing everything I can to put over the postie's point of view.
