how come our mail is not arriving walk sorted or buddy
had loads of trays code sorted way they used to arrive pre 2007 agreement
can someone explain whats going on cos del office ips taking ages now
approached mgmt they havnt clue say they have phoned and were told its a glasgow mc prob doesn,t affect you
like hell 2hrs ips certainly affects us
any clues whats happening

As far as I know the fact that the DSA is being held back at the MC means that mail isn't getting run through as early as it should knocking evrything back.

dsa mail not being released early enough in the day for processing is causing the problem,late shift cant cope with the amounts at times and do their own outward despatches so it falls to night-shift to catch up but more often than not mail is crash-planned i.e. not walksorted or buddied which will at times mean more ips for delivery offices .earlier network arrivals at mail centres are crucial......if their running late and it does'nt have to be much, there's less time to walksort and the do,s get hit with more ips than they need.sorry folks

RE Walk sorted mail :anyone got an idea on how much walksorted mail delivery offices should receive from MCs, dont know if there is an agreement on percentages .... no point in asking management .....you cant believe any of them on figures in our area
