Re: "£20.60" per week for Unlimited "D2D"'s ?
Arn't you glad we lost all those days pay? Wasn't it worth it?
Losing about £15 a week on D2D is awesome!
'Unlimited' amount of D2D for the same as 1 D2D! Fantsastic news!

If that agreement goes through, I will be cancelling my union membership, I have a feeling I won't be the only one!Urban Smith wrote:Are you having a laugh ??!!

The agreement is split in to RM divisions.delboy wrote:Let just hope there are more of us delivery staff too everybody else..boon3590 wrote:Im sure all us posties will vote no but what about everyone else sniffing that golden carret im afraid we will be out numbered and this will be pushed through.
Why cant each devision vote on its relevant section? Surely we should be asking for this?

what would happen if u couldnt complete your duty if this agreement gets thru?
would u then cut off real letters as well as d2d or both, cos if it gets a yes vote ill be doing no overtime and cutting off all of it

Re: loss of door 2 door payment
In theory this would be the best way as we would get the chance to vote on what concerns us, however, lets say MC's vote yes and DO's no - what happens? Do delivery staff go on strike and MC-staff don't which would open up a whole can of worms? Does the whole deal get rejected even though parts were agreed? Why cant each devision vote on its relevant section? Surely we should be asking for this?
It could get very messy and create more problems than it solves.

Re: "£20.60" per week for Unlimited "D2D"'s ?
LMFAO...i average £27.00 a week doing D2D at the moment so would loose £7 a week....oh forgot i'm P/T that will be about £12 a week bieng on a pro rata payment. So can someone tell me why i lost money standing at a gate giving the union my full backing only for them to come back at a later date to say "Thanks for your support but we would like you to take a pay cut" especially since the cap on 3 D2D is gonna be lifted.
Would they not have been better just agreeing to 5 D2D doing 1 a day which would put extra money in everyones pocket?? or is that to simple.

No offence to indoor staff but why would you pay someone D2D money when they are not performing the work
Also with the capping removed could RM not take on the more profitable time sensitive leaflet work which would mean they could dictate what day they were delivered.
4 lots of D2D’s on a sat anyone ?

Icant see anything in the agreement that says the d2d payment of 20.60 is pro rata but if it is ill be having 24/7 bonfires.
