anytime the dog is out or the door is open which means it could get out then take it back and deliver it the following day once you have had a quick look to make sure the dog isnt out and the door is closed. just write dog loose on the letters and take them back, then when they get the letters the next time they will be aware. You can also request for your line manager to write them a letter asking them to keep their dog secure or deliveries may be withdrawn.
