Also here.ATOS said they were not going to overide a specialists word.Cant say what IM off with but ATOS agreed that health and saftey issues were more their concern and will leave any decision in the specialists hands until next review in 4 weeks.That will upset my dim no end.I can see him going rabid when he gets the report!!

TELL ATOS TO STOP HARRASING YOU AND THAT YOUR OWN GP IS TREATING YOUR CONDITION ALSO INSIST ON A COPY OF THERE REPORT ON YOU WHICH THEY SEND TO YOUR DOM.IT IS A LEGAL REQUIREMENT.THEY WILL TRY TO GET ATOS TO GET YOU BACK AT WORK ASAP THEY DONT HAVE YOUR HEALTH INTEREST AT HEART AND WILL MAKE FALSE PROMISES OF LIGHT DUTIES.MY ADVICE TO YOU IS STOP OFF AND TELL ATOS YOUR OWN GP IS TREATING YOU .YOU ARE ENTITLED TO 6MONTH FULL PAY.ENJOY YOUR TIME OFF.

It's like a couple of fat people with their electric trolleys I know that are on disability, there's f**k all wrong with them. All their health problems they have bad joints/back, diabetes etc are pretty much caused by them being fat . I'm all for genuinely disabled people being helped by the state but weeding out piss-takers who hide behind the law needs to be done.

Thats right.It really is elf and saftey.All I can say is Im off what was a genuine sickness,Im still under the hospital,and although my sickness has cleared,but not gone(i know this is sounding nonsense,but if I put what Im off with some people will know who I am)away.Due to the motoring laws and elf in the workplace,atos can do sod all due to this,and they agree that if I do go back I will be breaking the law of the land in one respect and causing saftey concerns everywhere else.Hope that helps a little.There is a bit more that was brought up but I cant go into it here as that will i.d me and if my dim is reading this he will go a damn sight more than rabid.Lets just say atos coulnt understand my dims reasoning or (un)actions.
I had an operation after an accident on delivery and atos have been brilliant with me. I think when the dom got me to see an atos doctor 5 month after my operation he presumed I would be back on full delivery and on 8 hours a day, but they left me on light duties, 4 hours a day for a month with a list of things I havn't to do in work, such as driving. It's great as Royal mail can't go against an atos report
I was off with depression, and had these atos people ringing me and getting me into a state thinking that they are more qualified to diagnose me over the phone by asking a few questions, than my own Doctor!!!. I think them ringing me all the time actually made me feel more stressed out and kept me off work for longer than if they had just left me alone! Grrr
