Have i read the LTB correct we wont get a vote on agreement until pension is sorted.
Is this a clever way to stop a no vote before the election,or am i being cynical.

Re: Is our right to a vote been sidelined
Actually, from Postmans original revelation that the deal had been scuppered until the pensions issue is resolved,it
is a far less commital statement, and serves only to 'appear to be doing something'
quote :. " However, prior to the agreement being placed before the membership via an individual member ballot, the Union is determined to address the pensions issue and establish whether the Government will now finally accept its responsibilities, as the owner of the company, to find an acceptable solution. "
The way i read it is, it will take time anyway until a timetable to ballot is established, and the union will continue pushing
for a pensions resolution.
But nothing suggests this agreement will be sidelined because of this issue, and we will certainly get to vote on it.

At bottom of LTB, Pensions "Now we have secured an agreement it is essential that we discuss the matter further with the Government and Royal Mail before confirming a ballot timetable on the agreement"
Do you think we will have a ballot this side of the election,me thinks maybe not.
