Re: Putting d2d's into your work load
In reality,we could all be going to every door every day,and you will still get your manager asking ,why do you need overtime? In the agreement posted, saturday is just another day like any other. So where does family friendly come into the agreement as stated? :

Re: pro rata D2D payment
This is not good if true - that means part timers should get (some/all) d2d`s prepped for them - this agreement so far does not look good - what about d.o.`s that are allready doing what has been written?shadow wrote:Whats all this crap with a lump sum for the D2Ds pro rata. I as a partimer prep and deliver just the same as any fulltimer and if there is any payment I expect to get the same as them.

Re: pro rata D2D payment
Yet again part-timers are being shafted. If we are not being paid the same rate for the same workload that is discrimination. So why the hell has the P.E.C. accepted this ? I for one will look into delivering pro rata d2d instead of full quota. The logistics of managing this is a nightmare. How the hell are they going to force a part-timer to deliver the same amount of d2d for a lesser amount than a full timer? If all part timers were women or any minority group all hell would break out at this discrimination. SO ITS A NO FROM ME ON THE AGREEMENT.

Re: pro rata D2D payment
Maybe pro-rata for part timers is just for those who do not work 5 days so would not deliver a full set . maybe?

Re: Putting d2d's into your work load
dont forget it wont all be as simple leaflets, what about free samples letters with pens inside etc etc. no machine could bundle all that together! and from royal mails point of view why should they invest in a machine for that, they just negotiated a deal where we baisicly do it for nowt.

Re: Putting d2d's into your work load
Why don't people read the agreement? It states "No change to the current D2D workplan and all items will continue to be available for delivery from Monday onwards".So you're not going to get 2 lots Monday and another 3 on wednesday ,according to the agreement. It also says about looking at developing new products such as a specific D2d on a Saturday. All that said,I still don't like it as there is no way pegasus can allow time for prepping and delivering them cos as stated you may get 3 one week,10 the next, and what about bank Holiday weeks or when they come in late for which we currently get EXTRA Payment? The other part I don't like is "In future D2D will become the responsibility of the OPG performing the delivery route and as such will be treated the same as all other traffic streams",so if its you day off or you have a few days leave and the cover doesn't do em,do we HAVE to ?

The current D2D workplan has to change to bring D2D into workload, hence a further lack in clarity in the document....
It reminds me of a religious book, open to the interpretation of whoever reads it which as we all know leads to trouble and strife!

My D2Ds will stay the same. Leave em under me bay and the D2D fairy comes and takes them away the next week

Vote NO ..... simples, kick the D2D deal into the long grass, its a deal breaker, RM is just trying it on to see if they will get away with it, if they are really keen on an agreement, they should pull that section out of the agreement.

D2D payment for everyone?
Is it true that every Royal Mail worker will be offered this lump sum for the D2D deal? I have heard even afternoon staff, drivers and everyone else who dont even deliver mail or work Saturdays will get this payment. Surley this cannot be right?

It sure looks that way. They must have been pissed when they dreamt that little gem up.hong wrote:Is it true that every Royal Mail worker will be offered this lump sum for the D2D deal?
