Re: Are our terms & conditions improved by this deal
i didn't save the download, but i'm sure i read that the span would be from leaving office to returning, but that pouching off would still be used where appropriate. also, as for breaks being incorporated into the working day, in theory, yes they are, but most days i don't have time to take a break, either because i'm rushing to get the bags out for the driver, or, when i'm driving, because i feel a responsibility to get out with the bags to drop off for the others. however, i know i'm doing wrong by not taking the break, but practically speaking, it's not always possible.

I'm sorry but the agreement quite clearly states that the delivery span shall be defined as the time between first and last letter.

Re: Are our terms & conditions improved by this deal
ok. i did speed read it at about one in the morning. judging from what's been posted on here today, it looks as tho everything has gone to pot anyway. we need proper details of how things are to be worked out before any informed votes can be cast.
it's all so sneaky. talking to someone today who said one of the line managers told him it was all set to come in in july, apparently 'they know things', he said. i don't understand why people can't sort things out in a sensible and honest manner.

All that has happened today is they have realised how difficult a deal this is to sell to the membership so they have tied it to a resolution of the pension crisis.
To save your pension you accept a very poor deal simple isn't it.
