I own a union
How many members have joined your union to date ?
21% of the workforce - we are the voice of part timers.

Joined or not we will fight for them .

Hundreds interested in joining that have seen my advertising here.
1 - So you don't represent the majority 79%
2 - You cannot assume that because a person is an AG then by default you represent them.
3 - You cannot represent the workforce in negotiations if you have less that 30% of the workforce as signed up members Unless the employer wishes to deal with your "union"( and why would they ? ) - thats the law on union representation in the EU
4 - Why are you using this site as free advertising ? If your that set on having a seperate union, why don't you set up "ROYAL MAIL AG CHAT"

The fact is you are trying to drive a wedge between AG's & FT's - ONLY BY STANDING TOGETHER can we change RM's plans for the better.

im a fellow p/timer maybe he's slightly ott but royal mail puts u in the mood to look for arguments - i hadnt had any arguments for 6 months after letting someone else do my d2d's then out of the blue, my hours are changed i now have less allocated time to do my prep/walk and expected to come in earlier on a thursday if im off on a friday or saturday. This is gunna backfore for them as ill be booking more overetime and working to my exact start/finish time including breaks. In fact i now go out of my way to find fault with the job. With this agreement gone are the days when someone else can do d2d's if the current walk holder do not wish to do them. So in the future is theirs a yes vote ill be paid about 12 quid for unlimited amounts of d2d to do in 4 hours! - total pathetic imbicile cwu if u ask me!

El carto - fight this shizenhausen

and i am a union member - like that helps.

Yes they did, but a friend who is quite active in Unite tells me that the CMA kept
a seperate structure and financing within Unite. Noone even seems to know how
many members they have. He thinks they kept their section seperate to make it
easier for them to split off, back into a seperate organisation, or to merge with
another union.
