D2D supplement – could you clarify

Post by dropbag_clone »

Supposing that the rumour of the £20.60 supplement is correct.
Is it possible to confirm that this is one of the ways it is being financed?

Allowances are to be abolished, so if you are now receiving an early start allowance (possibly under grandfather rights)
this will come to an end? The money going to the D2D supplement?

For people doing D2D’s and earning more than the proposed supplement, that the money lost will go to the supplement piggy bank across the industry?

The supplement will be paid all year around?
It is for delivery staff only?
The supplement will be pro-rata for staff not on a full time contract.

Thanks

This d2d supp. could lose the vote, but then remember like most changes all those that will gain or not affect will probably push it through. For me it depends on the wording. Will it mean o/t cannot be booked because of them? I make between £35 and £55 pounds on d2d a week and if my colleagues on firms are getting the same then you can bet ill be booking the extra time it will take me. Especially as theyll increase the limit. I do except that in this climate they cant be paying for it twice though which is why the supplement is probably set so low. If they put them in envelopes for us i wouldnt have a problem with them

Unlike D2D as they stand now, looks like overtime will be payable and can be used as a reason to book.

Haven't D2D items always been included in the workload, it has long timediscussed on these forums that the prep of D2D items is already included in your workload, so what exactly will change.
The number of items to be prepped and delivered is now uncapped
A pro-rata payment to part-time staff, Why???
My duty has just as many calls as a full timers duty, but I will be paid less to do the same amount of D2D items.
So I will be forced to deliver more items of D2D for less than I am currently paid, and for less than a full timer delivering the exact same amount of D2D items.
Not a chance

Only the prepping of the D2D's were part of the workload not the delivery. The rest of your points are spot on.

Yes, sorry my mistake.
But at the moment in my office part-timers have not been given time to prep D2D items in the duty structure, so the long running arguement is that RM expect us to prep in our own time.
The figures just do not add up, I am expected to deliver more items over a longer period with the possibility of a D2D item especially design to be delivered on a saturday (100% call rate in a 6 hour shift?) for less money than I am currently getting.

And I went on strike for that deal.

The agreement claims a full office revision with Peg Georoute set to a 100% attendance. That should (cough) make the rounds smaller.
