£12.00 shift allowance going into new delivery supplement
£8.60 for unlimited D2D.
This is how I read it.

So if you have say only 500 houses daily over 5 days lets be very fair with the figures thats 2500 leaflets to be delivered for £8.00 a week =CRAP
if you then up those to say 600 houses over 5 days thats 3000 leaflets for £8.00

So that must then make RM the cheapest Company in the Country for leaflet Distribution.

I dont think you would find many people in the Country willing to work for that ,even for cash in hand.

I did not understand the Delivery span agreement .If I read it right their is no time limit upon deliveries?

I see the agreement as a pay cut and a worsening of our terms and conditions. Some deal the negotiators have acheived!

if it took 4 months for the CWU to get this good deal, imagine how bad the first proposal was !!

Exactly. As ive said on many threads now, people out of work would not do that amount of work a week for the price of a wetherspoons meal. Even paperboys get paid more to deliver a few papers to a few streets. f***ing laughable at best.

And these are the best bits of the agreement.

To put it into perspective, if you deliver 3000 leaflets for one of the other D2D firms you will earn around £100.

Delivery span, ways of working, you name it, are all to be agreed locally - so yes in theory you could be doing any amount of delivery or indoor work within your scheduled hours.

And yes, it is a pay cut. Less money for more work, and the CWU top brass should hang their heads in shame and resign, just for agreeing to pro rata D2D payments for PT staff (never mind the rest of it!). I'm not PT but that is absolutely shocking and I feel for the guys who rely on that extra £30 a week.

This agreement really concerns me speaking on behalf of Area Distribution Drivers. We are being asked to vote on a framework which is then in turn to be negotiated locally to trigger the lump sum payments. How can we vote on something Nationally and then be expected to agree it locally?

I can see for sure now what will happen, if the deal is accepted Nationally, locally Management will use this as a green light to changes they have already planned and forget local negotiation.

Just reading through the delivery part is enough for me to be voting no! You lads and lasses are going to suffer the most yet again for the least reward.

Doesnt look like ill be joing this union then :) i did say it would depend on this agreement.

Ive got 860 hits to do on my walk i get about 33 a week for doign 3 d2d's and this kills me.

if they think im doing all that with 6 d2ds for 8 quid .

words cant describe how i feel about that.

PLEASE VOTE NO :cry

can sumone answer me how it can be pro rate for d2d ? if its the same job for FT and PT? same amount that is.

This must be a wind up?
